Maddy, the owner and founder of SM Aesthetic Lab, has over 15 years of experience in the beauty and cosmetic medical field. As a registered cosmetic nurse and clinical trainer for both Teoxane and the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science (AACDS), she brings extensive knowledge to cosmetic treatments and advanced techniques.
Maddy performs all cosmetic treatments and provides customised treatment plans tailored to each individual. With a comprehensive approach to aesthetics, she ensures that every client receives personalised advice and guidance to achieve natural, balanced results. Maddy is dedicated to helping clients enhance their features while maintaining harmony and symmetry, aligning treatments with their unique goals.
Nurse Jen – Registered Nurse | Laser Technician
Nurse Jen is dedicated to enhancing natural features, anti-aging, and providing personalised care with ongoing support. With a Diploma of Nursing (2020), a Bachelor of Nursing (2022), and she performs volumizing treatments, wrinkle treatments, skin rejuvenation procedures, and facial balancing techniques.
Having honed her skills and techniques under Nurse Maddy and through advanced training with Teoxane, Hygel, and more, Jen takes a holistic approach to facial assessments, carefully considering proportions, symmetry, and individual facial structure to achieve natural, balanced results. She tailors every treatment plan to ensure subtle enhancements that maintain skin integrity while supporting long-term rejuvenation.
Nurse Sarah – Registered Nurse | Dermal Therapist
Sarah holds a Diploma in Beauty (2018) and a Bachelor of Nursing (2024), allowing her to blend skincare expertise with advanced cosmetic treatments. She focuses on creating personalised treatment plans that align with her clients' goals while supporting overall skin health and rejuvenation.
Sarah’s comprehensive facial assessments focus on achieving facial harmony and balanced aesthetics. Dr Thomas Webb – Cosmetic Doctor
Dr Thomas Webb brings surgical expertise to SM Aesthetic Lab, holding a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery (2016). With five years as a surgical trainee in Sydney, he has developed an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy and symmetry.
Dr Webb specialises in volumising treatments, wrinkle relaxers, and APTOS Threads, offering precise and natural enhancements. Having worked alongside Nurse Maddy since SM Aesthetic Lab was founded in 2020, he focuses on subtle, refined results tailored to each patient’s unique facial structure.
Dr Nico Foley – Cosmetic Doctor
Dr Nico Foley is a Cosmetic Doctor with over ten years of experience in the field. With a background in Emergency Medicine and surgical sub-specialties, she has a keen interest in aesthetic medicine and women’s health.
Dr Foley shares the same treatment expertise as Dr Webb, including volumising treatments, wrinkle relaxers, and APTOS Threads. She is also a Medical Advisory Board Member for Laser Clinics Australia, focusing on patient safety and treatment outcomes.
Nurse Avril – Registered Nurse
Avril completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 1998 and earned a Master’s in Health, Safety, and Environment in 2014. With a diverse background in surgical nursing, mental health, and remote area nursing, she brings a well-rounded approach to aesthetic treatments.
Since transitioning into the cosmetic field, Avril has worked for a leading cosmetic company, training nurses and doctors in advanced skin treatments. She focuses on volumising treatments, wrinkle treatments, skin balancing, and facial rejuvenation, tailoring each treatment plan to achieve harmonious and natural results for her clients.
Nurse Rachel – Registered Nurse
Rachel has over 25 years of nursing experience, beginning her career in London before moving to Sydney in 2002. With 13 years in Emergency Medicine at St Vincent's Hospital, Darlinghurst, she later shifted her focus to dermatology and cosmetic nursing, combining her medical expertise with a passion for skin health.
Rachel takes a holistic approach to skin and aesthetic treatments, offering wrinkle treatments, volumising treatments, facials, and overall skin balancing. She prioritises long-term skin health and rejuvenation, helping clients achieve natural, refreshed results while maintaining the integrity of their skin.
