Begin Your Bridal Journey
To achieve your dream look for your wedding day, we recommend starting your journey one year in advance. This allows ample time to plan and deliver the best results. However, if your timeline is shorter, don’t worry—our team can tailor a plan to suit your schedule during your initial consultation.
Starting Consultation
During your wedding consultation, you’ll work closely with one of our Cosmetic Nurses or Dermal Therapist to discuss your aesthetic goals. Together, we’ll devise a personalised plan to help you achieve radiant, glowing skin within your given timeframe. Our team will guide you through a selection of skin, laser, or cosmetic treatments that align with your preferences and comfort level, ensuring you’re perfectly prepped for your special day.
As part of the consultation, we’ll also provide a full skin analysis and a complimentary enzyme peel to leave your skin glowing and prepped for any upcoming treatments.
For Brides and Grooms
You’re welcome to attend your consultation alone or bring your partner along! Grooms can also benefit greatly from skin and cosmetic treatments tailored to:

We also offer a wide range of cosmetic procedures designed to assist with volumization and facial sculpting, among other enhancements. While we are unable to speak on specific treatments due to TGA regulations, we can discuss all available options in detail during your consultation.

Nurse Maddy – Founder, Cosmetic Nurse & PDO Mono Thread Specialist
Maddy, the owner and founder of SM Aesthetic Lab, has over 15 years of experience in the beauty and cosmetic medical field. As a registered cosmetic nurse and clinical trainer for both Teoxane and the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science (AACDS), she is widely respected for her expertise and commitment to advanced cosmetic techniques.
Maddy sees initial consultations and PDO Mono Thread appointments, using her extensive knowledge to assess facial concerns and develop customised treatment plans. She ensures that each patient receives detailed guidance on their cosmetic journey, focusing on achieving natural and harmonious results.
Nurse Sarah – Registered Nurse | Dermal Therapist
Sarah is a qualified Registered Nurse and Dermal Therapist who brings a unique combination of medical and beauty knowledge to SM Aesthetic Lab. Holding a Diploma in Beauty Therapy (2018) and a Bachelor of Nursing (2024), she offers a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to cosmetic treatments and skin health.
Sarah has completed her foundational training in cosmetic injectables through Fresh Clinics, including Introduction to Anti-Wrinkle and Dermal Fillers. She also holds certifications in Vascular Compromise Management and Emergency Response in Aesthetic Practice, ensuring client safety and best-practice care at every stage of treatment.
Passionate about helping clients feel confident and empowered, Sarah focuses on tailoring every treatment to suit the individual’s skin type, aesthetic goals, and lifestyle. Her dual background allows her to approach each consultation with both a clinical and holistic mindset, promoting natural results and long-term skin health.
Nurse Jen – Registered Nurse | Laser Technician
Nurse Jen is dedicated to enhancing natural features, anti-aging, and providing personalised care with ongoing support. With a Diploma of Nursing (2020), a Bachelor of Nursing (2022), and she performs volumizing treatments, wrinkle treatments, skin rejuvenation procedures, and facial balancing techniques.
Having honed her skills and techniques under Nurse Maddy and through advanced training with Teoxane, Hygel, and more, Jen takes a holistic approach to facial assessments, carefully considering proportions, symmetry, and individual facial structure to achieve natural, balanced results. She tailors every treatment plan to ensure subtle enhancements that maintain skin integrity while supporting long-term rejuvenation.
Nurse Seph – Registered Nurse | Dermal Therapist
Nurse Seph began her journey in aesthetics at SM Aesthetic Lab as the clinic’s first employee, where she developed a strong passion for client care and the science behind skin health. This inspired her to complete her Bachelor of Nursing, graduating in 2023, followed by further training in cosmetic medicine and dermal therapies at AACDS before returning to the clinic to continue building her clinical expertise.
Seph is deeply committed to ensuring every patient feels safe, comfortable, and well-informed, with a focus on natural, refreshed results. She is passionate about skin health, ongoing education, and supporting her patients with genuine care and honest advice. Outside the clinic, Seph is a mum to a beautiful baby boy, an avid reader, and a true crime podcast listener.
Dermal Therapist Sez
Sez is an integral part of our front-of-house team, welcoming clients and assisting with both clinic coordination and treatment care. With over five years of experience in dermal therapies, she has expanded her expertise into advanced laser treatments, facials, and skin needling, allowing her to take a holistic approach to skin health — both at home and in-clinic.
Her focus is always on achieving visible, results-driven outcomes that align with each client’s aesthetic goals. Known for her warm personality and genuine care, Sez builds strong, trusting relationships with every client she meets.
